Buffon Zebina - Legro - Canna - Grosso Brazzo - Poulsen - Marchisio Candreva - Diego Trezeguet Christmas tree. It worked.

I agree with Stu. Fulham is good at home and Dempsey will probably be back starting, hopefully getting his form back.

I'd say Diego has been the best, but Marchisio has been consistently decent. Went missing at times but it wasn't a disaster.

But connecting on simple passes doesn't make him a great passer. Earlier in the season he was trying more difficult balls and he couldn't pull them off... because he isn't a quality passer. Keeping it simple makes him a smart DM doing his job.

He's a neat player. Doesn't try anything he knows he can't pull off. I liked how he hooked up with Diego a few times during the match, including that last Diego shot where Marchisio put in a nice through ball. An efficient player.

The discussion wasn't about anybody else besides Poulsen. And he's not a very good passer. But he still deserves praise today for putting in defensive work and keeping it simple. And calm, as Alen said.

And that's what Poulsen is very good at, getting the ball and making simple passes to more talented players. Sissoko is a poor passer of the ball.

If Poulsen is a "very good" passer of the ball in world football today, then I am Gaetano Scirea. A "very good" passer in midfield would be the likes of Xabi, D'Agostino, et cetera. Poulsen makes good passes here and there but it's nothing special.

Poulsen isn't a good passer of the ball. But he did what he needed to do today.

Good win, thought Trezeguet, Marchisio and Legro were our best players. Good movement but we almost committed suicide late in the first half with falling asleep and letting Fulham get more of the ball after the goal. But all in all, they were an absolutely poor opponent. We should be beating...
