Caceres is awesome. Always liked the player.

The back pass was obviously the worst, but I still like the player a lot and think he is reliable. Bonucci made more costly errors than he did last season.

And the reason for that is the guy doesn't know what he's talking about, obviously. Caceres has done fine as a backup, definitely want to hang on to him.

You have to be insane to want Motta or Grygera over Caceres. Again, under the guidance of sharp trainers who have experience in the Italian game, you can correct Caceres' overzealousness in the tackle. He can tackle, it's just that he needs to learn when to tackle. Methinks he would become...

He still has a lot of promise. Made a couple game-saving tackles today.

Those players were pretty poor, yes, but I still have to say Grygera was the worst. Certainly worse than Greasebag and Zebina.

Motta at this point. But with the right schooling Caceres could be better.

    Whomever is cheaper.

He made three bonehead passes that resulted in goals last season. They were not all back passes to Buffon. Caceres has talent. Get him to be more cautious and he can be good. Or at least better than the moron you defend relentlessly.

Except that it happened more than once.

You can't have it both ways, Red. Even if Caceres makes some braindead tackles, Grygera is the definition of a brainless fullback. Caceres looked pretty solid compared to the clown you always wrongly defend.

And this is coming from someone who rates GRYGERA.

You're supposed to set an example, Red, Mod... But you've always been a bit too harsh on Caceres.

I'm wondering where all the "Caceres is returning from injury, give him time" talk is, like that given to the overrated goon Iaquinta who apparently has been recovering from injury for three years now. Double standards abound.

    Martin Cáceres

Yes, because we don't need Poulsen and the likes of him. We need better passers and folks that can play the ball in midfield, not destroyers. We have Sissoko and Melo and that's enough. Caceres has potential.

It's not Caceres' fault that he was deployed as a right-winger, which he is not. Hell, he was originally a center-back. But of course, our useless manager can't seem to understand that.

    Martin Cáceres

Throw aside confidence, he doesn't have the ball skills to do it either.

Which is something that can be corrected, by the way. His overall reading the game is not bad.
