Bad mistake, but they happen to all keepers. Hope it's out of his system now. He made a couple of good saves in the game otherwise.

Marchetti fits more of the typical Juve 2nd keeper profile (Italian, over 30 yrs of age, reliable) but I want us to keep Neto here, I trust him much more than the likes of Marchetti. Has the potential to even start here once Gigi retires.

We always use the reserve keeper in the Coppa Italia finals. Well we did in 11/12 and 14/15 anyway.

There was some talk recently that we might send him out on loan or sell him, and bring in Marchetti from Lazio. Personally, I hope we keep Neto. He would start at 90% of Serie A clubs at the moment.

Gigi says he wants to play for Italy at Russia 2018, so we have another three more seasons with the great man. Plenty of time for the new Gigi to be unearthed (I hope lol).

If Neto is happy to be Juventus' back-up keeper for the foreseeable future, I'm happy with that. We'd have (again) an extremely solid and capable keeper as back-up whenever our number 1 is unavailable. Better than relying on the likes of Nonno Chimenti.

Name a keeper that hasn't made a blunder in his career...they all do, and they are obviously singled it out for (unfairly) compared to players in other positions. He is a good keeper.
