I don’t believe that appearance clause one bit tbh. He’ll play Coppa Italia games and games against Serie A minnows just like Perin did. His signing is more of a political move (in terms of having a strong presence in the locker room) than a technical one.

It’s one thing for him to be eliminated again at an early stage...but the fact that he made such a big mistake that massively contributed to their eventual elimination makes it even worse. I can’t see him playing many more games for them next season (if he doesn’t retire before then) Should...
