mech in ubc is bloody hard, but they just changed the cirriculum, so i think it might be easier now than before. Chem has a lower worklaod than mech, i think eng phys and electro mech has the highest workload.

Well yeah, i have a friend in mech who did the same thing, took com sci, felt it was too boring and then switched to engineering. Once you get in, assuming you get reasonable grades, its not hard at all to switch specialization. Just make sure you find out early what you want to do, sometime...

Well, since u will be coming abroad, u will be paying more expensive tuition , so they will try to take you in whatever way possible :) characteristics of canadian universities. Apply anyway ~ always nice to try to keep as many doors open to you as possible.

you didn't even do chem in highschool? anyway, you can still try, you never know until you try :D

you only need first year chem, its not that bad.

You don't need chem unless ur in chem eng, or material eng and eng phys. You need it for the 1st year , and thats it, and I hate chem.

I don't know, we kinda got over it like 4 months ago :) Most of the town still supports him fully, plus the whole thing is like a media circus, we would've gotten more attention if kobe didn't had his daily court hearings :D

i dunno about that, I never wakeup before 12 when I am in vancouver unless there is school :D Both cities are good :) But trust me , vancouver has changed a lot since 7 years ago, lots of new things everywhere, you will be surprised when you go down to richmond, or downtown.
