[CL] Atlético de Madrid 2-0 JUVENTUS [February 20th, 2019]

If they come to defend the result, which is very probable, then I can see us keeping a clean sheet. The problem is, I can see them keeping a clean sheet too :D

[CL] Atlético de Madrid 2-0 JUVENTUS [February 20th, 2019]

Perhaps I missed some comments here, but I see most don't see us scoring 3 or 4 goals and already accepted the elimination. We forget that 2:0 is also a result that won't get us eliminated after 90 minutes, and that's not an impossible result, right?

[CL] Atlético de Madrid 2-0 JUVENTUS [February 20th, 2019]

I saw that stat on FI, but I don't think it's true. We conceded two goals today, 3 against Parma and the last two of the 3 goals against Atalanta. Those are the last 7 goals we conceded and most weren't from set pieces. Maybe they mean CL and they are counting the two penalties against Basel...

[CL] Atlético de Madrid 2-0 JUVENTUS [February 20th, 2019]

Allegri: "“Fortunately we didn’t concede a third, because 2-0 is a result that can be easily turned around." Ok, optimism :D I'm not sure he believes his own words, knowing that the opponents are masters of defense and counters, but I like the optimism from the usually careful Allegri.

Simeone's subs were predictable. Koke and Thomas were injured until 2 days ago and they were doubts for this match. Costa had his first start in months. When Costa and Thomas got those yellows in the first half, they were a sure bet to be subbed out (I thought one of them was gonna be replaced...

[CL] Atlético de Madrid 2-0 JUVENTUS [February 20th, 2019]

That was pretty much expected. I was shocked to see Dybala start this match. I always want him to start matches and, as a fan, I was kinda glad to see him start, but I would have bet that he wasn't going to start, and frankly, if I were the coach, I probably wouldn't have started him. With that...

Gotta say it was impressive how they handled Mandzukic. Not once, while he's in Juve, I've seen a team completely shut him down and shut down the service he usually gets. He didn't play bad at all, or make mistakes, but he was helpless tonight.

It's annoying to read Berna and Chiellini comments how we lost this match on set pieces, incidents and small details. We allowed them two 1 on 1s with our keeper, and if MDS didn't make that foul on Costa, it would have been three times to let them come face to face with Szczesny.

[CL] Atlético de Madrid 2-0 JUVENTUS [February 20th, 2019]

It's not about bad CL luck. Tonight we were incredibly lucky with Costa, Griezmann and then Morata. That was actually the kind of luck CL winning teams have in the knockouts. The fact that we didn't try to adapt, change things and win the match on the wings of those lucky moments, has nothing to...

[CL] Atlético de Madrid 2-0 JUVENTUS [February 20th, 2019]

Nah, after that match in Madrid last year, it's never over with Juve, no matter if we're winning or losing the 1st leg. If they score in the first 60 minutes, then it's over. I'm afraid, though, that even if we make it to the quarters, a disappointment will be waiting just around the corner. As...

[CL] Atlético de Madrid 2-0 JUVENTUS [February 20th, 2019]

We played right into their hands. They played and won tens of matches like this one in CL, when they leave you possession and hit you on a counter or wait for a set piece. We didn't stand a chance. Though, after those Costa and Griezmann chances, or after Morata's disallowed goals, it's...
