[Coppa Italia] Roma 1-0 JUVENTUS (Jan. 21st 2014)

I don't think Conte has a say in this. The owners set the objectives, and it's usually money related. The money in the EL isn't good, but after the CL failure it might be set as a goal for this season to push for that trophy.

[Coppa Italia] Roma 1-0 JUVENTUS (Jan. 21st 2014)

Yeah, if there was one match this season where Mirko could have been the difference maker, it's this one. Unlike Quag and Giovinco, he knows that he still has a chance to become a starter, and he'd have been more motivated than the rest when facing his old club. Shame this Inter thing happened...

[Coppa Italia] Roma 1-0 JUVENTUS (Jan. 21st 2014)

They didn't. That's how good they are. Particularly disappointed in Isla. What a flop he turned out to be. I didn't expect much from Peluso, and Qaug+Giovinco are too weak for what is the best defense so far this season. The reserves are simply not up to Roma's first team level, while the...

Yeah, but I thought it's about giving playing time to Del Piero and it's a one season thingy. Looks like it became a tradition.

[Coppa Italia] Roma 1-0 JUVENTUS (Jan. 21st 2014)

If we made it through today, we were gonna be eliminated against (probably) Napoli, or in the final. Come on, we played the coppa final 2 years ago with so many starters on the bench (among them Buffon). The fuckin final! There is probably some agreement in the locker room that Coppa is for...

[Coppa Italia] Roma 1-0 JUVENTUS (Jan. 21st 2014)

My first complaint is: why did we have 6 starters out? That fact itself is the biggest reason to complain, because it shows we have absolutely no ambition in coppa, and the question is why don't we care about it at all, especially in a "secured serie A and out of CL" season?

[Coppa Italia] Roma 1-0 JUVENTUS (Jan. 21st 2014)

The approach was indeed strange. When someone like Vidal plays so nonchalantly, you know that we had nothing prepared for this game and we played it only because we had to. The fans hate this, the club doesn't care. Almost as if we wanted Roma to stay in and be kept busy ahead of the serie A...
