[CL] Maccabi Haifa 0-1 Juventus, Nov 3rd, 2009

Actually, Grygera's main advantage over Zebina and Caceres is his discipline. He'll be useless in attack against the better teams because he won't even pass the midfield, but at least you'll know that he'll be always there in defense and he won't do something extremely stupid. Then again...

[CL] Maccabi Haifa 0-1 Juventus, Nov 3rd, 2009

Actually, he played only on 4 out of the possible 52 matches, so it's 10/11. :D P.S: No, he played on 8 out of the possible 52. So it's indeed 5/6, or close to it.

The others won't like it, but on some matches i'd choose Grygera ahead of Zebina and Caceres. Not on many matches though. Zebina is indeed my main choice for RB. I have no idea when he'll be back. You never know with him. Last year we were waiting for him to return any day, and yet he spent...

Once they'll have to lose. And draw is no better than defeat (Unless Bayern fail to beat Maccabi in Munich).

My opinion about him hasn't changed. I acknowledge the fact that the boy can improve a lot in the future, but right now i don't feel safe at all with him. Against the better wingers he'll get skinned all the time because he's immature. He runs for the ball without thinking if there is a chance...

Not from what I know. You ain't getting a money price if you lose a match though. Until last year a win was bringing 700K while a draw 350K and a defeat 0 eur. I think there were some changes this year, though.

[CL] Maccabi Haifa 0-1 Juventus, Nov 3rd, 2009

Anyway, except for the 2nd leg home advantage, being 1st or 2nd might not make much difference at all. Real Madrid might easily end up 2nd, Chelsea, if they lose in Porto, might end up 2nd, Barca might end up second, Lyon might end up second...even ManUtd might end up second if Wolfsburg win...

Bordeaux will go for the win for sure. Draw is also fine for them. But losing won't be a disaster for Bordeaux and that's what makes this match a pressure-less for them. This can mean, as you said, that they can enjoy their game and beat us comfortably. But, less possible, it can also mean...

[CL] Maccabi Haifa 0-1 Juventus, Nov 3rd, 2009

The 3 points and the fact that we finally played as a big team in the added time, does it for me to call this match a positive one. I was so pleased when our boys didn't let the Maccabi players touch the ball in the added 3 minutes. We were passing smartly, we were winning fouls, corners and...

So some are consistent and some aren't and we can't generalize, right?

Question for the Israeli members (maybe you already told us, but I missed it): The last time we played Maccabi they were missing a lot of players, and many of them were Maccabi's best players (the best player among them). What's the situation today? Are those players still missing or they're back?

It is a betting site and it's blocked in countries that don't allow online betting. USA is surely on of these countries, I don't remember which were the other ones (I think Turkey and Israel were among them). But as Juve-Prince said, Bet365 doesn't show CL matches (or EPL matches). It's perfect...

No, Juve to score is 1.10. 1.66 requires Maccabi to score at least one (you win no matter if Juve score or not). 1.85 requires both Maccabi and Juve to score, so it's normal the odds for this to be higher. The bookie is Sportingbet.

We can fall to serie Z and i will always laugh at Milan when they fail to win. Always

1.66 offered for Maccabi to score at least one goal. I have 1.85 for both teams to score.

Now all it needs to be done is one of our players or directors to say how we're CL contenders. Then I can safely bet on 1x double chance.

What Snoop said! I want the first place too, but looking at our inconsistency, injury problems, bad form and bad coaching, i'd sign with both hands if someone offers me the 2nd place in our CL group.

Wouldn't a Bordeaux win be even better? Bordeaux 10 Juve 8 Bayern 4 In such case even if we lose in Bordeaux and Bayern beat Maccabi in the 5th round, we'll only need a draw against Bayern to qualify.

The biggest must win in the history of must wins. I don't fucking care how ugly we'll do it, but we must do it and win 3 pts here.
