    [SERIE A] Juventus - Palermo (5th October, 2008)

Here's something to cheer you up.... Even in our worst serie A season of the last ~15 years, we were better than Inter. In that particular season they ended up with only 8 pts more than the relegated teams. :D

At the end we played a play off match against Udinese. We had the same number of points with them but h2h and GD didn't count so we had to play the play-offs where the winner was going to play in UEFA while the loser was going to start from Intertoto. We lost even that :(

I agree. But put yourself in Ranieri's place. He saw a chance to turn things around. Imagine what he was thinking... "we're playing with 10 men, we were 0:1 down. If i put more attacking players on, if i go for the win even though we play with 10 AND if we win this match then i'll be a hero...

Guys, how can our board be changed ? I'm seriously asking. Who can fire Secco, Gigli and Blanc ? Can the Elkans do it and if they can but they don't want to, can someone else fire our board ?

If Ranieri didn't take Poulsen off for Camoranesi and if the match ended 1:1, you'd have blamed him for not having balls to go for the win. Now that he did replace Poulsen and when he did go for the win, you blame him for the defeat. Yes, it's obvious that our lack of passion and our pathetic...

Marchisio will never be a big team player. You guys are just hyping him. He does try hard but he lacks football knowledge to play CM.

I think he was good. We were more dangerous with him in the team. Amauri also did ok. He had 3 or 4 players on his back all the time and yet he won so many duels. He was doing the midfielders' job for bigger part of the match. The same can be said about Del Piero. Whenever he had the ball...

Why is De Ceglie always leaving so much space on his side ? He was solid today though, but he fails to cover his side way too often.

Wow, i'm not even mad. Normally i'd have gone crazy after such a poor display, but for some reason i didn't react at all after we conceded the second goal. Probably it's due to my expectations for this match and i did expect a bad result. The players don't give more than 20%. They aren't...

Trust me, you don't want him, you want someone who can pass the ball as well as him but not him. He can be great for a month and then completely disappear and shamelessly underperform for months. There is a reason why he never played for one of the better teams, even though he's 29.

Some people would rather be hated by everyone than stay unnoticed. The attention they're getting is feeding their soul. Some psychologist can explain this better than i can.

If the goal was in the stands Nocerino and Molinaro would have been the only ballon d'or candidates.
