He's a reliable, good player. Even when he offers nothing going forward, he is more than reliable at the back. I wouldn't sell, but sign someone useful that he can play off of on the left.

I'll never understand what happened to him after his first two seasons. It's like he has been zapped of all energy and passion. But aside from that, this has been his best season since 2016/17. I wouldn't sell, there aren't better options out there.

He's been solid but im still disappointed in him. He has all the ability in the world to be the unanimous #1 left back. But something's just been missing for him since 2017. It's a shame because he was playing some great football in the beginning of the season.

Why not try him in the middle.....

Even when in form he is not the best defensively. Leaves to mention space behind. He is most defintiely not irreplaceable, this is a team we could play Asa there and make another CL final.

Im not sure how smart of a decision it was from Bayern to weaken Dortmund like that. Sure pretty much fully guaranteed the title but by raping their talent it kinda makes the league seem less attractive than it potentially could have had Dortmund stayed strong. Dortmund constantly pounding...

Honestly they are pretty much exchanging Sanchez for Mkhtaryan and Aubumayang, thats an upgrade if you ask me. An attack of Auba, Laca, Ozil, and Mikhi is really good. The one thing holding Arsenal back from being a pretty good team is their horrid defense. - - - Updated - - - Its not like it...

Yeah he is overrated for a while. Fantastic going forward and good at defending 1v1 but positioning is poor. The first and third Madrid goal were in large down to him from what I remember but he delivered a great cross to Higuain for our goal.

Asamoah has been better this season

I actually made the comment before reading that article. I dont think he will leave in jan regardless but will be replaced by Spinazolla in the summer.

Love the guy almost the perfect LB but defensively especially when it comes to positioning he is still not great.

He's having competition from Khedira but atleast Khedira performed vs relegation candidates.
