thats so true mate!! whether we play more defensive or not, we get fuked over in defence anyway. might as well have a penalty shootout like game for 90 mins instead. and we definately are able to do that with miccoli, trez, dp, nedved and maresca.

Zambrotta is playing on a wing really. i mean, he starts from deep and works his way up which is what he does best. Abit like Carlos. We dont have a left midfielder and we see del piero often drift to the left as does nedved. On the right, Camo uses the right wing, thats what we dont have on...

sorry gray, what was that?? if we choose to not use zambro on the left as a winger he is useless. nedved nad maresca can only do so much IMO.

hmm, if tudor boasted some pace and offensive in his game to add to that wing like thuram does, then it would be nice to move thuram into the middle.

so basically miccoli will be playing as a right winger. i mean, if birindelli doesnt push forward then miccoli will have loads of work to do in a position which isnt his trade so to speak. there is no doubt that del piero can play that role on the left especially with a player like zambrotta...

the thing is though that birindelli isnt as good as thuram going forward on the right. then you have miccoli on the right who isnt a real winger and he wont perform as well as he does when being played as a support striker. Trezeguet is basically useless when isolated upfront as he has shown...
