Locatelli is a must purchase. But unfortunately we need more than just locatelli. So while I think locatelli will arrive at the expense of one of our younger players, who else can we bring in to reinforce this midfield?

Agree..although I'd love to find a ready made world class midfielder for that role it just doesn't seem possible. Locatelli is showing enough but that additional pogba/SMS/aouar is what will bring our midfield to the next level.

I think a player like locatelli will help complete our midfield group. Not necessarily a starter but good for rotation as well as changing formations etc...40m in this market seems high and they are probably taking advantage of our incompetent people at the top. The deal won't get done at that...

Agree. I think he is a safe transfer. We know these italians from Mid table teams can be more of a miss than a hit. However his season has been really impressive and his stats as a midfielder prove it. Not saying he is the next big thing but considering we are trying to offload 3...
