People never get it. Same with Conte, Marotta, and if the rumors are true (God forbid), Allegri. We all gotta get paid, we all gotta eat. If Hankook, Firestone, or Goodyear offered you double the salary, you'd go in a heartbeat and that's understandable.

The way US sports work is wildly different than this.

He's was a great, intelligent player that was always an asset to whichever club he played for. However, age comes for us all at some point, no shame in it and not his fault. The fact that there's really no one else to start, that's on the board.
