Ok thanks... I prefer 3rd person view too. even in car/racing games. Anyhow, I don't think I'll play socom.

I played halo 2 at a friends place, and I have to say that it's pretty cool once I get used to it enough that i don't get dizzy from the screen. How does this socom compare to halo2? is it also a shooter?
