At the WC he wore Lottos, but lately he has been wearing blacked out Preds.

I just bought the Umbro Speciali. It's made from Italian leather and everyone's always bragging about K-leather manufactured in Italy, so I want to check that for myself. I'm having this all deciding game in the battle against relegation tomorrow, so I probably won't use them this weekend though.

You're right, it's a knee injury. But not because he was planting his studs in the turf. If you look closely you'll see he twists his ankle, which is why his knee collapses. Alan Smith broke his leg due to the same principle.

Well, I don't remember what it was, but probably the injury I've been struggling with for a while: a partial tearing of an ankle ligament. Might sound odd, but something a professional football player will recover from very quickly. Now knee problems, that's dangerous.

The thing is, most serious knee injuries are caused by sticking into the ground too much. I don't think the weight of the boots is an issue, but rather the studs. It's why I have always disliked the metal blades most Adidas boots have these days.

Ankle injuries maybe, knee injuries very unlikely. Lotto Zhero's are cheaper here, but they don't even look like a great boot to me. I find the Adidas Absolute too expensive as well. I might be going for a leather version of he V1.06 (not at the original price of 170 euros though) or the...

They're K-leather though. And I would use them once a week for 90 minutes. That's really not much.

Great boots I've been told, but serious durability issues. They'll be useless within three months, if not sooner. Puma are getting lots of attention from me these days though. Puma King Exec looks to be the next boot I'm buying (I always stick to K-leather anyway).

The puma's are also K-leather and are a lot lighter. Normally I wouldn't care for the weight, but I have been training in Puma boots recently and I have to admit it does make a difference. Especially as they are A LOT lighter. Furthermore they would only be my "game boot". Call me crazy, but I...

And what about the Puma King Exec? They look great. I'd probably buy them in black though.

I do about every six months. Anyway, what do people who have played with them think of the Nike Legends? I kind of detest Nike, but I'm looking for a K-leather boot that offers me some support. I'm not in for Adidas Absolutes, because I want the leather to be all around. No fancy tricks...

Because it doesn't depend on the foot. After a few games the leather will take the shape of your foot.

With these boots you get the best ball touch in a mile. They're easy to clean, look classy and last long. You're an idiot if you buy other ones.
