Yeah and that's fine. But if we had this mercato last year instead of the one we had we'd still have 2 useless strikers up front. We put down the foundation in the starting XI last season, with the bench being bulked up this season. One wouldn't work well without the other.

We should have got to the CL 1/16 or 1/8 with our team last season, this year even if we end up playing 3-5-2 with all the usual suspects we'll probably improve on that. So unless Pereyra & co are somehow directly responsible for us improving in Europe then it doesn't effect the ratings to me...

Very little changed by the time Conte left in terms of who we were buying and selling Evra, Pereyra, Romulo, Coman, Morata. None of that changed Immobile, the only significant departure happened before too. And Quags + Mirko were done at Juve regardless of our new coach
