Like it or not, he did lend a hand for us to grab the scudetto. Not necessarily played better than Matri or Quag but he had more impact lately than the other two almost consistently in the recent matches.

I can only guess that Conte wants a holding striker up front. Bad or not, none of our current strikers can hold up a ball like him. Quag is closer which is probably why he came on. A holding striker makes Vucinic's work easier by dividing the defense attention between him and a phyisical...

One little good thing about him though is that we can keep either Vucinic and Matri fresher than the usual. They both look alive and full of running when they came in.

My guess is he was supposed to hold and win the balls while Milan's attacking, much like hardworking Pepe but with more forward role. That early stupid goal however ruined the game, Milan were either parking the bus or playing with little risk and he's rendered useless.

Didn't even notice that he's the one who made it. Not really a bad game. He certainly has a better physical presence than Matri which is good when you're isolated most of the time. More training and he'll play better.
