12M on its own might be understandable but adding half of Immobile to that sounds like overreaching to me. Marotta saves all this money on the bargain purchases of our best players and overspends on our second tier types only to lose out on their sale a season or two down the road. Funny.

It definitely was a bad season for him. Injuries can have a huge effect on a players form, especially when it interrupts season preparation.

There's a strong chance that he will develop to be much better than Caceres (if he hasn't reached that level already) . When I studied in Italy I watched a few of his games for Torino and he definitely earned his place in the Azzurri squad and from Serie B no less. He won't develop here unless...
