The right side of our team had better continuity and fitness than the left side last season. For the upcoming season we shouldn't assume that Barzagli and Lichtsteiner will both be available for as many games as they were. If anything Ogbonna's purchase should be contrasted against Peluso.

I see Caceres as coverage for all the right sided defensive positions, and Ogbonna as the left. Maybe more than cover, guys you can put in for games and have a degree of security. Peluso is more like cover.
