A world class defender would be nice. Our possession has contributed to our defense more than anything. We won't be enjoying so much of it against real opposition in the CL next season.

Boriello? Another average Italian striker in our ranks? Some people never learn.

De Ceglie played a well for like 30 minutes against Milan. The games before that he didn't impress. Why have people forgotten that?

The ultimate goal is nevertheless to win titles. You are much more likely to do that if you spend money. Manchester City is in my view definitely going to win more titles than Juventus in the foreseeable future. The owner caring about the tradition and culture of the club is completely...

That residence or nationality doesn't matter when you try to participate in a football club's affairs either as a fan or as an owner?

Last time I checked Juventus had an international following and can therefore be considered an international club that competes in Italy (and god willing, in Europe in the future). Man, I must be a pretty shitty fan not being Italian.

People and their talk of "history>sheiks" :disagree: As if we were much better. The only reason we have a history to begin with is because we started off having a sugardaddy in the form of a very generous Agnelli family. Why is having a sheik any worse?

I thought only Lichtsteiner and Vidal were part of the 70m euro package. So the transfer kit for the summer was (buying the players on loan contracts)+70 million. Or maybe someone can correct me here.

Yeah you are right. Pirlo is definitely the WTF signing of the summer. (tactically speaking) But don't worry, Bonucci is right behind him clearing everything that goes through:disagree:

If Conte insists on having two attacking wingers, then how about a 4-3-2-1? Here Pirlo and Ziegler are better covered.

Wondering about Conte's 4-2-4, the two midfielders being Pirlo and Vidal. If we buy Bastos, who has been used as a defender in the past, couldn't he theoretically track back and assist Vidal in protecting Pirlo?

I think Juventus is waiting for Atletico to realize that they're running out of options. If what has been said is true, Real goes after Neymar, Aguero doesn't want England, and Atletico is desperate to let him go, then they just might have to accept our offer of 35 million. Sit and wait.

Hmmm...I don't know, I always felt like Inter and Milan were more keen on Real Madrid scraps. That being said, Marotta is just the man to change the tradition.
