Couldn't agree more, but I do also believe it's a tactical issue as well. Any team playing on the wings with pace always seem to cause us trouble. Playing 3-5-2 simply exposes the team like a slut in a church.

I can't see that happening unless we were trailing behind in a game and Conte decides to shift things up in the 70th minute. To be honest, I don't see him changing his new beloved 3-5-2 unless we run into a sequence of disappointing results. Stresses on results, not performances.

Not according to the latest Marotta interview where he specifically said "Conte is our Ferguson though in Italy a manager's role is quite different". I don't see Marotta giving up any of his 'powers' to be honest, not now anyway. Not while he's doing a pretty decent job.

Conte, given his age, can only get better. He's already overachieved really in two seasons. That said, if another early EL exit is on the cards and history repeats itself next season too in the CL. A change could well be the only way to go further. Still too early to judge though.
