    [Serie A] JUVENTUS 4-0 Lecce (Oct. 17th 2010)

 Palermo had a narrow midfield, so were able to completely dominate that area of the pitch. That meant that, though Krasic was in space, none of Juve's other midfielders were able to get on the ball enough to supply him.

Should Aquilani, Krasic and Quag also not celebrate? Or are they allowed to since they weren't part of last season's failure?

I wouldn't say that. He's the fullback who has done best against Krasic so far, but Krasic was still involved in that game quite a lot. I though the problem in that game was Palermo controlled midfield, so Juve struggled to get the ball to Krasic very often.

You reckon? If a team is to stop Krasic completely, they will probably need to use at least two players. This means they will be at least one man short in other areas of the pitch, so it shouldn't be that tough to find space and get other good players involved.

Not really, given that I don't consider myself a fan.

I post less when Juve win. When they win and play well, I'm content to say that they played well and move on. When they don't perform, I'm more inclined to go in for detailed analysis. And I stopped watching at half time today, because I was sure the game was won. :D

Gazzetta thinks it will be that team, but in a 4-4-2.

To give De Ceglie the freedom to get forward and get crosses in.

    [Serie A] JUVENTUS 4-0 Lecce (Oct. 17th 2010)

In the last couple of years, how often have Juve won home games against weakish opposition easily? It's all about the players going out with the right mentality, because any team Juve puts out is, on paper, going to be stronger than what Lecce can field.

If Juve are to play a three man attack, I would think Martinez would be a better option than Pepe.

    [Serie A] JUVENTUS 4-0 Lecce (Oct. 17th 2010)

Trezeguet couldn't really be a lone striker. A lone striker has to be able hold the ball up, work to make space and provide a goal threat. Trez could only provide a goal threat. Amauri can only hold up the ball. Iaquinta can only work to create space. So you are right to say no...

Unless he's planning to play for a 0-0 draw against Lecce.
