[Europa League] JUVENTUS vs Lech Poznan (Sept. 16th 2010))

It will take more than one match. We saw it last year. We'll need a string of positive results while showing improved performances to build confidence.

It is the most simplistic formation, you're right about that. But that doesn't mean you should use it no matter what. And to the contrary again, the simplistic nature of it could mean it is predictable, which most of the time it is. The most successful teams that run with it are those that...

Agreed completely. And with the straight 4-4-2, you need BOTH CM's to be able to move the ball to some degree for the system to be truly effective. They become too isolated naturally because of the width the wingers provide. So indeed, it's not going to work with Melo and Sissoko out there...

My idea would consist of the most boring football ever, and it would be incredibly stupid at times, but it's useless to try anything else with such players. The problem is they would still concede goals because of our poor fullbacks and constant pressure in our zone. Instead of 3-3 it would be...

What else do folks want? Should we pull off a striker and throw yet ANOTHER DM out there? Will that solve our defensive problems? How about another defender as well? Clearly it won't, and the reason is that you can't keep giving the ball away in midfield with an already-mediocre defense...

[Europa League] JUVENTUS vs Lech Poznan (Sept. 16th 2010))

There isn't a point in playing an aggressive attacking game with central midfielders like Sissoko and Melo. It would probably be more prudent, as ridiculous as it sounds, for this club to just sit back against Lech and hope they do some foolish things while attacking us. Since it's apparent we...

Nope, because there is some truth to it, IMO.

Even with two DMs and the supposdely world class destroyer Sissoko, we still gave up three goals to freaking Lech. End the myth.

You're right, yo. I need to come down there some time and get gayer.

Northern Virginia, one of the richest areas in the nation. Apart from the high taxes and density of gooks and chinks, it's not a bad place. Would love to live there.

What's this chit chat here? Whatever you do, don't go to Philly. Even their suburbs blow hard donk.
