Not much happening so far between Samp and Genoa, but great atmosphere (damn, I have got to see one of these derbies one time. Each year they make a great show).
Yup, I used to enjoy him, too, playing for this Samp side. An ideal poacher...maybe he would not have worked so well for Juve, but him playing for Inter is just :inter:.
Both Lecce and Bari do not seem to be able to keep the speed of the first 20 minutes. Consequently, the first half finishes goalless. I hope for some goals or at least a decent fight in the 2nd half.
A shame really...a beautiful stadium owned by a Serie B club relegated on the pitch in the previous season. They have another season fighting against relegation ahead of them. Now they have a FIFA2000 crowd cheering for them. Instead of introducing such "clever" solutions, the Italian leagues...
I am impressed with Genoa so far. They are really strengthening their squad. Whereas Toni stays a liability, they now can field Ranocchia, Veloso, Criscito and Eduardo. Zuculini might play a role, too. I do not know Chico, I have to admit, though.
He might be overrated but he is just an example for the way young players are treated. It's getting really frustrating. Apart from that, when has Luca Toni proven he is still good enough for Serie A?
