So first we offered him 3.5m, as a joke apparently and now we went to 5m as a tease....and soon enough we will offer him 6m just to give him blue balls....then walk away and sign Vialli with Guus's jaw dropped. Fantastic.

We need at least 6m or a close to possible for him to consider. I may be wrong but dropping 2m a season for an ailing club is a bit of a gamble for a coach, regardless of how talented he is. But, at least the club knows what needs to happen. And depending on how severe they think it is will...

Well Tommy, you look at the best teams in Europe with a full squad even go through tough periods. Our tough period started when we were close to a full squad but IMO was extended as our injury list grew longer. We won't be strong again until we get our key players back.
