People keep saying that bringing Cannavaro back to Italy will automatically make him great again. The curious side of me wonders if there are any statistics to see how players returning from abroad perform upon returning to Italy? It's finals for me so I can't go on a grand research, if...

I think the battle of the Andrews is leading to a draw. Since we don't have the ability for a penalty shootout it's looking like you two will have to agree to disagree.

Well with the crap Juve have on the left and right, will he really be exposed less? If Juve upgrade the rb then having Cannavaro makes sense. If not, I don't see how the situation is different.

You remember those things called counter attacks? An upgrade at right back would definitely help stop those pesky things. It probably wouldn't mean much against teams that are way more talented than Juve, except in the CL. Juventus would definitely perform better against the teams they...

Yeah, but at the same time you don't buy a 40 year old player who seems to be going toward the sour part of his career and expect him to be an every game starter. I'm not saying go buy Zapata, but expecting Cannavaro to make any big difference is a bit nutty.

A competent right back would do wonders for Juve, you guys may not win the treb, but you would do much better.

I'd sign Cannavaro as a back-up or to add depth before I signed him as a one season cure all.

Wages for Agger aren't the problem, it was more a promise of future involvement in the team.;) Also looks like Alonso may not be the midfielder leaving, apparently Javi has a few gentleman callers.
