Thanks guys... Because evolution is a continuos process, it is safe to assume that a million years down the line, man would have evolved into other super human species, flying men, men living under water etc. etc. Correct? (Unless of course humans become extinct like the dinosaurs)...

During my college days i'd done a lot of study on religion (mostly Christianity) but i've hardly done any reading on the theory of evolution... from the past coupla days a few questions have been lingering in my mind... but because none of my friends believe in the theory i couldn't find an...

i'd agree to your statements... but you cannot generalize that to religion alone... clever, power hungry bastards will always find one thing or the other to have easy means to control people... for example in India, leaders use their regions as a way to control people... leaders in Maharashtra...

it is... i'll try and explain my statement... when the world says Muslims its synonymous with the middle east... for a long time now, the people of the Middle East have stopped practising Islam the right way... For example, the first Caliphs(leaders) of the muslim community after the Prophet...

I'll put it this way Martin, Islam is a positive influence... but most Muslims are not...

Just because Catholics don't care about their prophet doesn't mean we shouldn't... And yeah you don't understand... you say you are open minded and all that BS, but you won't understand... you won't understand because you are not willing to understand our belief system... you don't understand...

Different places, different cultures, different laws... you can smoke pot in a coffee shop in Amsterdam, do the same thing in another country and you get busted... when you are in another country you respect their laws... in the east its common to punish children by beating them with a cane...
