Most of my Italian friends are from the south (Sicilia and Calabria) so seeing their propaganda everywhere when I was in Milano and Bergamo kinda pissed me off. As interested in Italian culture as I am, there's the ugly side that comes with it.

There was a guy I knew on another forum a few years ago who put his location as "Padania". He was a Milan fan from Milano. Got quite a laugh when some English guy told him he couldn't be a true Milan fan because it "wasn't his local team", not knowing that the term Padania includes...

Yeah, one of the best things about Italian rivalries are the displays that mock or poke fun at the opposing side. That first one looks more like you're campaigning for gay rights than attending a football match.

Meh, really worrisome for the future, especially if the FIGC makes good on the threat they made after that farce at the Coppa Italia final to break up all the organized groups and ban fans from bringing any kind of banners into the stadiums. Then the clubs couldn't do anything about it even if...

Isn't it just the big CL matches that Juve organize it themselves? Thought the ones for league matches were still done by Curva Sud.

Are you talking about club-sponsored displays or ones done by the Curva? Because that Bayern one is almost definitely club-sponsored as well as the vast majority of Barca's, Madrid's, etc. They might look nice but part of the philosophy behind coreo is that it's supposed to be made by the fans...

I'm going to guess that's for Bayern-Madrid and that's a stray away fan sat in with the home support.

    Close the Curva.

Yeah, I never understood using that as an insult either. But almost every club's fans seem to have at least one chant calling the opposition as Jews.

Well, I'm not saying to let ultras have free reign over everything, and definitely when it comes down to violence or real safety issues then something needs to be done. But Italian matches without the pyro, chants, displays & banners that the fans are historically known for will be a sad time.

Yeah, unfortunately the stadium atmospheres in Italy are dying a slow death. I don't even want to think about what it might be like a few more years from now.

Yeah, stop being so insensitive, Badass.

I haven't been there to say, but I'm basing it off trips to the Meazza, Anfield & various American stadiums.

Shh. :D And I preferred sitting in second tier to when I sat in first tier there.

Sitting in second tier in almost any stadium is always better anyway IMO. Better view most of the time.

Why don't they want you taking photos of the changing rooms? The stadiums I've visited not only let you do it, they encourage you to.
