With Lampard going to Inter, Ranieri will probably see Aquilani as the best solution possible in CM. And to be honest I wouldn't disagree.

If Roma is smart they would do everything possible to keep him. Aquilani-De Rossi in midfield is a huge force for many years to come.

Aquilani would be a great buy. Very good box to box midfielder. I would say he's one of the best options out there if were stuck with the 4-4-2 formation. But I honestly dont think Roma would let him go that easily.
