Zambrotta was good tonight. Almost looked like his former-self.

It's hard to judge, we can't know for sure, but I don't think Flamini's miss was the deciding factor tonight. And it WAS a penalty.

    [EU] Champions League 2007/2008

The Flamini thing was more coincedental than crucial. Arsenal gave their all the first 20 minutes, which had obvious repurcussions in the second half. They self-destructed and were dead-tired, Fabregas for example was completely exhausted in the second half. It allowed Liverpool back in the...

They had a very big lead at one point, only to squander it big time. As their third position betrays. Yes and the result? Yup, Arsenal lost. No they could've had the game under control, but gave it away. 4 goals conceded in a CL game, you just won't win it if you let things like that happen.

Really? He always gets outcoached in the CL. His sides lack power and temperament. They could not hold in the league as well. Arsenal played a very naieve game today.

Yeah, I bet on first game 1-1, second 0-0. I win if Liverpool advance, I win even more if Liverpool advance by a 0-0.

    Hopefully 0-0. I deserve it.

1-1, how predictable. I actually have money on Liverpool advancing after a 1-1 and then 0-0 scoreline. So far so good.

I agree with what you write, but i'd say this still only applies to the english top 4. The gap between the top 4 and the rest of the league is much much bigger in the Premiership than it is in Serie A. It just shows how football fluctuates. Now the English have a lot of teams in the semi's...

The level of the top 4 isn't the way to measure the quality of the entire league. Besides wasn't it just a season ago that the nr4 in Italy easily disposed of the English champions? Your conclusion is way too easily drawn.

That's not the AS Roma that has been the nicest team to watch this season :(.

Hmm the lack of a striker may be their weakness, but I also think it's their strength. If you play with a box player less, you have one player more on the ball. Roma's touch and go play is about positioning, quick passing, incoming midfielders and always finding the right guy, this way it's...

Roberto Mancini lascia l'Inter.

    [EU] Champions League 2007/2008

No way man, the overall quality of the Serie A is still much higher. When talking about the tactical and technical level, the level of defending, the football knowlegde of all those involved and even the individual talent and class EPL is still inferiour to Spain and especially Italy. Inter...
