Talentwise I'd agree that Ribery is better, but Malouda has been much much better than Ribery this season. He is more consisent, less raw and more experienced.

I agree. Malouda is a great player. If we can't get Ribery, Malouda would be the best alternative. Malouda is less influential than Ribery though; Whereas Ribery is somewhere inbetween a typical winger and playmaker, Malouda is purely a winger.
