    Diego Ribas da Cunha

You mean "my-dad-has-wet-dreams-about-Real-Madrid"-players. Most of the rumours around Diego are 100%-made up. They can be turned down by the simple facts of watching Diego's training appearances and stuff. When should all this have taken place? I doubt Diego will leave Werder before 2009...

That's not true, Turk. His contract with Schalke would have lasted until 2009. I cannot imagine Werder spending 20m € on one player. Diego was bought as a replacement of Johan Micoud who was as important to the team as Diego is now, so Werder will try to find a cheap, but clever solution...

I think Diego will stay another season in Bremen and after that he'll probably go to Real Madrid to play with his friend Robinho. Juve's chances aren't too big IMO, especially if we don't regain our pre-Calciopoli status quickly.

Özil is definitely not Diego's replacement. I mean, he has a lot of talent, he's just 19 and maybe he'll become a great player in the future but calling him Diego's replacement would go much too far, comaparable to calling Aaron Hunt Diego's successor. Carlos Alberto failed to integrate into...

Kinda strange he wanted to correct me in this point though. Maybe the names sound similar but I oughta know who is playing for Werder and who's not. No big deal afterall...

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carlos_Alberto_Gomes http://www.goal.com/en/Articolo.aspx?ContenutoId=344264 No Werder statements unfortunately, but he was definetly bougt for midfield. I don't care where he played in Porto, maybe he would have succeeded there if he'd played in midfield, too.

:disagree: That's just wrong, you can read it everywhere. Carlos Alberto was bought to strenghten the midfield, and Baumann will probably be the victim of this transfer. Bremen 2007/2008 (probably): ------------Rosenberg------Klose replacement--------...

I'm sorry I can't believe you. And I want Diego in Bremen, and Giovinco to develop in Juventus.

Huh? Still nothing in Germany. Juve won't get Diego. At least not now. Bremen made him a star and his more attractive atm.

:agree: Absolutely true. He is sometimes too egoistic and is getting problems when his team plays bad. He is not (yet) a leader who can change a whole game and wake up his teammates. But Werder lets him shine. Overall, I doubt that he's better than Robinho. But he'll improve    .

Diego is agreat player and everyone loves him ehre in Bremen, and I think he loves Bremen, too. Werder has a developing team and I think we can keep him for at least 2 or 3 years.
