  1. Juve still after Barzagli!

I'll be thoroughly shocked and disappointed if Barzagli draws into the Starting 11 at Euro Cup ahead of Chiellini, or even Materazzi... especially bearing in mind that no large club gave him a second look.
  2. Juve still after Barzagli!

This was a critical time for him and he dropped the ball. He stopped being a solid presence and started being a liability for Palermo this season. Where he went this summer would have determined his chance for a future: Go to Fiorentina (or Juventus) and get a solid coach in a solid team...
  3. Juve still after Barzagli!

Stupid and greedy... no wonder Zamparini was content to ship him out. Maybe the Captain's armband was cutting circulation to his brain. Unfortunately, with Barzagli, Ujfalusi, Garay and Pique off the market, there's fewer and fewer high rated CBs available (actual opinions may vary)...
  4. Juve still after Barzagli!

I can't believe Barzagli would be that stupid. He can probably kiss his position in the Azzurri goodbye, and he was marginal at best to begin with. Refusing Fiorentina with a very good coach in Prandelli, and the exposure of playing in the Champions League, for UEFA cup toiling in a...
  5. Juve still after Barzagli!

I bet we'll know by the end of the week... This is from Channel4.com: "Fabrizio Miccoli is thought to be the Sicilians’ preferred option, but Juventus are stalling over a decision on the forward’s future. Zamparini has set an asking price of £10m for Barzagli and it remains to be seen...
  6. Juve still after Barzagli!

While I doubt Juventus wants to be anyone's "silver medal," this is a pretty good sign that Fiorentina isn't in the bidding, and its pretty much Juventus, with the possibility of a Milan club.
  7. Juve still after Barzagli!

I'd definitely welcome Zaccardo and Barzagli... but I dunno if I'd make the deal if it meant sacrificing Criscito. I'd much rather toss in a different defender/youth player and more money if thats what it takes.
  8. Juve still after Barzagli!

Criscito? Man that journalist really mis-spelled Boumsong....
  9. Juve still after Barzagli!

With Barzagli, I see a guy with a pissload of potential, but at this time, to bring him in as the defense lynchpin is foolish. Right now, Barzagli needs to be apprenticed by an experienced, world class defender to help him boost his confidence and hit the next level. Grygera is the closest...
  10. Juve still after Barzagli!

Sometimes you are only as good as the players around you, and I think that's the case with Barzagli. He reminds me a little of Cannavaro at Inter... didn't look all that impressive, but you could kind of tell it was a team issue rather than a player issue. Barzagli paired with Milito, Luisao...
