I have to work while this game is being played. I hope to catch atleast the last 30 minutes. Must be an interesting midfield duel. Anybody watching?

    African Cup Of Nations 2006

I would choose Hossam Hassan before Mido any day. Every game that he has played he totally outdid Mido. This is from a neutral point of view. While Hossam does not have the pace the man is a genius when it comes to positioning & finishing. Mido meanwhile seems like he is more interested in being...

    African Cup Of Nations 2006

Personally I think the Egyptian NT plays much better without Mido. Good to hear he has realised his mistake and apologised but overall I think it's best for the NT if he's sent packing. My 2 cents :D

Thank you for banning Mido. Thank you. I for one think 6 months is too little. His actions yesterday were an embarrassment to the whole African tournament. How sweet it was that the substitute scored the winning goal.

    African Cup Of Nations 2006

Why can't these 'big african stars' that to destabilise your own team won't win you any medal? Besides it's becoming all too silly with the big names always clashing with the coaches. Do they think their persona's are bigger than their teams, countries? I hope Cameroon whips Cote D'Ivoire so...

Once Senegal realise that Diouf will not be doing anything useful this year then maybe they can revive their chances.

    African Cup Of Nations 2006

Southern African teams have sucked so far in this tournament. Eastern African teams didn't even make it. Sad to see that football in Africa resides in the top half. Easy win by Nigeria over a rather determined Zimbabwe.

The question now arises, how did Nigeria & Cameroon fail to qualify for the World Cup? How?

    African Cup Of Nations 2006

Cameroon is quickly starting to look like hot favourites after totally outplaying Togo in an entertaining match that had 2 brilliant goals. What's all this fuss about Adebayor anyway? Eto'o is in a league of his own, he truly epitomises what a striker should be & it's a shame he will not be in...

Good game Nigeria - Ghana. Nigeria deserved to win & that Taiwo boy can sure kick a ball! Ghana scared of Nigeria it seemed as they had a defensive formation. Back 4 for Nigeria is a bit shaky but midfield was brilliant - Wilson Oruma finally come of age, my MOM.

True unless they do something about it then they will be the whipping boys in WC06

    African Cup Of Nations 2006

Indeed you are in the death group & it sure does not help when you are playing with a second string team. And the officiating was atrocious! Cote D'Ivoire leading 1-0

    African Cup Of Nations 2006

I think Egypt will have a hard time in this tournament. They lack confidence & sharpness which they used to have in abundance a few years ago. What gives? Libya will be the whipping boys. Where did you get that goalie from Hambon? Should have used the substitute one from the beginning.
