That's very true.. and what I find even more saddening is that a major part of the population are sheep.. They do whatever their Imam/Islamic Leader "advises" them to do..
Oh, and I'm not saying that all Imam's are the same.. but some of them are terrorist-breeders, unfortunately..
It's not in the name of islam, per se..
These people make these heinous acts, and use "the name of islam" or "the name of God" as an excuse.. These people are neither Muslims, nor in any position to do anything "in the name of Islam" IMO..
Hehe, mate, the point isn't naming countries which have these properties..
The point I'm trying to make is that labelling All of us as the same country, with the same principles and cultures is just plain wrong..
Now don't get me wrong here.. I see no point in opening this thread in the first place..
I personally see no reason for criticizing christian countries, especially based on articles such as this one..

In case you didn't know, Bahrain, and many other countries not limited to Saudi Arabia, are muslim states..
Well, I don't want to start another debate here, so I'll just stick to the thing I'm definite about.. The burka isn't required, so in many cases, it's their choice.. Also, in many cases, you'll find them forced onto by their husbands..

No, it is not required by Islam.. Some even debate that the hijab (covering of the hair) is not even required.. but that's not my point..

That's only the case in Saudi Arabia.. In other countries, including my beloved Bahrain, women are more or less treated equally and have the same liberties as men, by law... but that doesn't mean that the society completely agrees with that.. So...
