  1. If U Take Us Cavenaghi, I´ll Kill You Guys!!

Nestor Sivori is Omar Sivori's son. Nestor is Cavenaghi's agent, and Omar functions, among other things I assume, as a scout for Juventus.
  2. If U Take Us Cavenaghi, I´ll Kill You Guys!!

Don't know if I was right in detecting a whiff of irony there ;) - but I fully agree with your "there's been many next DP's." The names I mentioned are merely those I think are the closer to be reasdy for the senior level. None of them are feasible for Juventus yet. Messina is doing well in...
  3. If U Take Us Cavenaghi, I´ll Kill You Guys!!

Benjamin is ours. Purely a technical arrangement that 'loan'. Like is the case with Appiah. Much too frail to make the grade yet though. Chiumiento, Boudiansky, Konko and Palladino are closer I think.
  4. Juve in Pole Position for Pedretti

I think that's understandable Stuart, but in my opinion it's much easier to fix our squad needs by adding creativity and passing ability in midfield (+ of course the needed defence upgrades). We have a star striker, and no, he isn't very mobile, but he remains a great link up player and...
  5. Mexes in Old Lady link

For the record- I think it's more propable that we get one of the two + Gonzalo Rodriguez, and that would still be awesome considering our troubled finances. Mexés remains priority number one though. At least in my opinion.
  6. Mexes in Old Lady link

    It's a superb song, I have to say :).
  7. Juve in Pole Position for Pedretti

The only thing between Trez signing a new contract to 2008 is that our management has not offered him a decent salary. He is on €2.5 million, and Barca is apparently offerning between 3 and 3.5. Now... Di Vaio is on 6 million (this season 4.8 from next season on I believe).... Montero is on...
  8. Juve in Pole Position for Pedretti

Oh my... that means Ronaldo (of today), and Romario, Gerd Müller etc. of yesteryear were nothing special.... That's novel. "Reporting from the Stadio Delle Alpi; Juventus played great football, and Zlatan Ibrahimovich was a spectacular sight playing heal and toe, making superb dummies in...
  9. If U Take Us Cavenaghi, I´ll Kill You Guys!!

Hi Cavegol :). Could you tell me what kind of transfer fee River is expecting for Cavenaghi? What are the fees mentioned in the press?
  10. Juve in Pole Position for Pedretti

Well.. I think Trez is the superior finisher Martin, while Drogba is more mobile and faster. Drogba is a very good striker. No doubt about that. I would never ever make such a switch if it wasn't because it might be imperative financially speaking, though.
  11. Juve in Pole Position for Pedretti

Cavenaghi has the best goal to game ratio of any River Plate striker.. ever. River is a massive club in it's own right, and Cavenaghi is close to the Argentine NT, which is uncomparable to the Swedish one in terms of depth and talent. Drogba... in a substantially better league than the Dutch...
  12. Juve in Pole Position for Pedretti

Appiah is only a loan because it looks better on the budget. It's simply spreading our deficits. We will certainly take over his contract from Parma after the season (whether Appiah will be used in other deals is possible though, but I doubt it). Last thing... I simply do not understand why...
  13. Alternative View of WC2002

:D That was unbelievable stuff Paul! Personal fave... yeah.. no kidding..The first country from Sweden... I'll be damned.
  14. 30 Top Players available for FREE this summer

If Ajax has an option for Trabelsi... it really doesn't make any sense for them not to utilize it, because the consequence to not doing so is that he leaves for free. Rather re-sign him and sell him on. He wants away and there are several suitors. Ajax has been adamant, for months, that they'd...
  15. Juve in Pole Position for Pedretti

Two things: 1: There's little reason to talk about alternatives to Kapo... since we've already signed him. He just cannot be presented to the public before his contract is up in June. 2: On the calciomercato rumour that prompted this tread... it is worthless unfortunately. It's just a...
  16. David Pizarro

Well... supposedly the meeting for Pizarro is tomorrow, so it's not unlikely that we'll know more then. Until we learn more though, I think many would benefit from going back to look at some of, I believe it was Shadowfax and denco's, comments about our financial state from other topics. We...
  17. David Pizarro

We want defenders. Many of us want to retain our stars. Our finances are a mess. We cannot expect high cost transfers. Rosicky will propably costs almost twice what Pizarro does, and with Udinese there's the extra benefit that we can propably load some youngsters on to them instead of paying...
  18. If I can dream

By and large I see your point, but first of all the tread title referred to 'dreams' which is echoed in the posts of several here. Obviously your team was the more financially sensible so far. On the other hand however- there's nothing wrong with looking at foreign options over Italian ones-...
  19. If I can dream

Renato is a brilliant player. Would propably be a great purchase. Would add alot to our defensive midfield. Anyway: -----------Buffon Thuram Ferrari Mexes Zambro ----Maresca---Pedretti Giuly---------------Nedved ------Trez--Del Piero
  20. Argentine defender Gonzalo Rodríguez to go to Juve?

This is why I love the net :D . Out of the blue, one piece of news come out, a guy in Buenos Aires feel compelled to share his wisdom, and people from all over the world goes giddy with joyful expectatins of what is to come :). So welcome MagoSantana :thumb: ! Just one thing. When Adrian...
