    Studying in the UK

Well I've done my fair share of research so all of the above is the least I'd expect. The fact that I'll very likely be studying in London doesn't do my wallet any favours either. Did you have any experience with a particular university?

    Studying in the UK

I'll most likely be pursuing tertiary education in the UK come next year, so I'm understandably nervous at the prospect of spending my next 3 years (possibly 4) halfway across the globe. Any useful information or experiences would be very welcome indeed. Oh and btw, I'll be...

Serie A: Juventus vs Palermo and the rest of the world [11/25/07]

Not to mention overrating Juve. Unless there is a drastic improvement overnight I cannot see us beating Palermo.

Serie A: Juventus vs Palermo and the rest of the world [11/25/07]

After the match against Parma, I daresay our biggest opponents against Palermo will be ourselves.

    Mauro Camoranesi

He did pretty okay. Which is more than I can say for Il Capitano, Trezeguet or Nocerino. We always looked a tad more dangerous on the right flank with him around, and with that frantic pace in the midfield his excellent first touch was essential to holding onto possession. There was little end...

    Vincenzo Iaquinta

Ditto to that. With Del Piero and Trezeguet's tendencies to completely disappear in matches its pleasing to see a player whose presence up front is his biggest asset.

Serie A: Parma vs Juventus [November 11 2007]

Enough with blaming the referee already. If you think the referee was bad today, well guess what Juventus were worse. There was no drive, no initiative, no desire even. The only reason we did not lose today is because Parma were ordered to sit back on a 2-0 lead. If anyone should be cursing...

    Juventuz LIVE 2007/2008

Even Gigi was a passenger frankly. Parma penetrated our defence numerous times but the only time he was called into action he got a shot in the gut from point blank range. Well, that and the penalty which he could've frankly done nothing about.

    Juventuz LIVE 2007/2008

Frankly, I'm more than thankful that I wasn't watching that with a bunch of Parma fans. If it weren't for that penalty we'd have gone into half time on level terms against a team who were superior in every department.

A dive? There was clearly contact and the penalty was deserved. Whether he went down or not makes absolutely no difference.

Serie A: Parma vs Juventus [November 11 2007]

It says alot that Ranieri is opting to play Criscito on the left even with Salihamidzic and Birindelli in the team. I'm hoping he repays that faith in spades tonight.

    Diego Ribas da Cunha

They have too many players in that position right now. An attacking midfielder is the last thing they'd need. Then again, knowing Real Madrid, making sensible purchases is also the last thing they'd do.

    Juve's season poll

Right now a solid top four finish is a realistic option. Personally I see Inter finishing top by some margin, ie the first runners'up will be in it for the automatic CL qualification and not actually contend for the title per se. Fiorentina lack the experience at this level to sustain any sort...

Serie A: Parma vs Juventus [November 11 2007]

It would certainly be a boon to the team if Criscito could fit in at left back. Chiellini at the moment deserves to be one of the first names on the team sheet and until Andrade is back we may be seeing him in the centre of defence on a permanent basis. I'd hate for Criscito to be left out so if...

    Pavel Nedved

Neddy's flagging confidence will spell trouble. In the midfield he is our fulcrum in attack and right now nobody can step into those shoes. It's inevitable that he will have to be replaced, I just didn't think that it would be so soon that Nedved would start to show signs of possibly becoming...

Calciopoli or Morattopoli.. inter fake orgasm

gsol, it puzzles me that one moment you readily admit that you do not in fact know everything regarding the trial, yet state your insistence that we are in fact innocent. I've read your posts on the matter and assuming that is all there is then sure we are innocent, but since you have an...

    David Trezeguet

One man's meat is another man's poison. Domenech underappreciates what Trezeguet brings to the table, ie a fox in the box, and prefers to fill his team with players of a certain mould. David belongs to a dying breed of thoroughbred finishers that has less of a place in today's game than...

    Domenico Criscito

What's even more distressing is that if Criscito doesn't establish himself to warrant a regular place it becomes all the more likely that he will end up loaned to a mid table club when we embark on our Champions' League campaign. The board is almost certain to spend on the central defence since...
