I actually agree with you about him being exposed without Bremer but I dont think Gatti sucks.

The complications I've seen are that he was promised last summer that they'd let him leave drastically below his release clause. I've seen reports of 50m was what was agreed to let him leave. I doubt that and it might just be agent rumors to spoil the player against his club but it is what it is.
