I don't see Krasic as a guy that plays defense. Maybe it's just fatigue this season. But if you assume for the sake of argument Krasic does not play defense, how does that impact us playing a 4-3-3? Especially with a new RB. Not that this gets solved with a 4-4-2.

I might be ok with Marchisio moving to United just to see an Italian get the exposure. Especially a Juve youth guy. Doesn't sound like we could find a great role for him here anyway. Give them Buffon too if they can't get Neuer, European hardware would really help his legacy.

If he left I would want it to be for a club that has a shot at winning UCL, not just playing in it, to shore up his legacy. As much as I love him under those circumstances I'd wish him the best and root for him.

I've always been afraid of the 4-3-3 because over the course of a lifetime I've gotten this sense that it leads to defensive collapses. Is that a totally false impression? Is it structurally no weaker defensively than a 4-4-2?
