Not sure if this was posted earlier, but I enjoyed this podcast with Comolli. Seems like an intelligent, humble guy.

I was thinking that too, but having a backline of Barzagli, Bremer and Kalulu would instantly make us the best defense in the world. And the Thuram- Vidal midfield would be amazing. Just goes to show how good that team was. Not a single one of our current players other than maybe Yildiz...

Just 2 goals in the first game and that’s it. Their xgA is also the lowest among the top 5 leagues. He is a defensive genius for sure.

Couple of caveats to that- Higuain wasn’t good in 2019-20 due to being second fiddle to Ronaldo and Dybala. Never mind, just thinking we had those guys in attack compared what to what we have now makes me wanna cry.
