Gallas will be a free agent after this season, unless he extends his contract. However so far nothing has proceeded into that direction, so once again if Gallas indeed would join us, it would be a free signing. And I think that is the very reason why Gallas is being supposely pursued by us...

Ballack most likely will end up at Madrid. Addidas threaten to negate his contract with them if he chooses to play with a team that does not have Addidas as a sponsor. I do not believe Ballack will stay at Bayern anymore. He is 29. This is his last big contract. He is wanted by big clubs...
