Like I said before, that's a fair point. He's just been holding down the defense for so long now that I tend to forget his true, original position. If that's that case and we are after him, then it would be nice to have a solid CDM in the team - given he's consistent.

Good point. The Benatia signing wasn't really unexpected though, but certain people have the gull to say it's because we're selling Bonucci.. hahahah. I think Benatia will be a good addition to the second string of defenders, but he's not a replacement for Bonbon, mostly cause he's not going...

That's fair. I more so meant to say sign him as a defender because we're perfectly stacked in that department. I wasn't aware of his desire to revert back to playing as a CDM. Considering that though, there's better and younger options available and better suited in that position anyway.
