I hope Hany Ramzy gets to play a solid full season without injuries with Kaiserslautern. He'd help our Egyptian defence a lot if he can get back to his usual form.

Where did Ailton go btw?

Schalke gives him much more money. But Werder didn't have the balls to satisfy him. Schalke's manager Assauer offered Ailton the new contract during last season. A time when Werder couldn't know that they'll be league champion with enough cash.

well I think Werder can achieve a lot this season, but become again the champion is unrealistic in my eyes. dortmund, as all-time fav will struggle if they lose Koller, too. Bayern - favorite, no question. others as schalke, leverkusen and stuttgart can surprise...let's see

personally I prefer hertha bsc and hansa rostock. I wish the latter one can reach the uefa-cup slots. hertha should be a CL-candidate...but they wont :(

Bayern are in good shape for Bundesliga. Days before it will start the Bavarians knocked down Bayer Leverkusen 3:0 (1:0) in semi-final of league cup. Current league champion Werder also found its way to final. Schaaf's men won 2:0 (1:0) against VfB Stuttgart.

The final will be held on 08/02.

normality will most probably resume this season.bayern,as usual, have bought well.if they make good us of their youngsters in conjunction with their veterans, they'd probably even win it by april or even march.

    Berlin with new Olympia-Stadium
after a 4 years lasting construction period the new stadium of Hertha BSC was initiated. 75.000 spectators can now join matches of the capital club.
some facts: 2 display panels (140 and 60 sqm), 98 loges, sound system with 150.000 watt, 312 lights (each 2000 watt) cover the pitch with 1500 watt, in addition other 5000 lights are installed in the roof building a "ring of fire" - they can be used for special lighting effects

Bayern beat Werder 3-2. Maybe they'll be in better shape next season and their odds will be higher because they didn't win Die Bundesliga last season :greedy:
