I'm sure you all remember what happened 2 years ago. Football Italia drew up ratings for all the Azzurri after the World Cup and our very own denco chewed them out for being so Roma biased. :touched::D Well here we are, 2 years down the stretch and let's see if they've learnt their lesson.

1.) Football Italia Azzurri Report Card
Funny, but I nearly agree in all points with them. The defense is good, but I would have given Cannavaro a 7 and Panucci a 6.
and...........why isn't the 7 for DP okay? He played crap against the Dans, but was top-class against Sweden, and played quite good against Bulgaria. I would have also given him a 7.

2.) Football Italia Euro Dream Team
Seitaridis instead of Miguel, Campbell and Cole (????) out and Dellas with Jankulovski should come in. But this paper is English so I understand them.

3.) Football Italia Euro Sucky Team
Its good to know that there a 4 Juve players................honestly I think that Thuram didn't deserve this.

I forgot to mention that, yes it is Nekton.

Del Piero was waaaaaaay ineffective, thus he deserved about a 5 in my eyes. And if you look at the other forwards, the only one with a high score is the only player who actually scored, that makes sense. Di Vaio played so little that a neutral score is okay for him.

I know I am alone with this opinion, but IMO Del Piero was quite good, and deserves a 7.

You're not alone. Some people are giving him bad reviews just because they were expecting him to suck and when the team sucked, the teams suckyness clouded peoples thoughts and made them believe that Del Piero also sucked just because he didn't score or assist any goals. Well fact of the matter is Italia only scored 3 goals. If the rest of the Italian team were on form, their good display would have not clouded peoples thoughts and would have made Del Piero look almost as good as Henry or Zidane.

    But thats my opinion :undecide:

Yeah...no evident bias there. I dont see why you think Canna should be put down to the same level of gameplay as DP had.

Panucci got 7 for playing the game of his life against Sweden, other than that, he wasn't that dad actually, not great but he didn't suck as badly as he normally does.l
