Are we in financial Trouble or are we just careful spenders, I know its the later but, we lost Vieri(Not such a bad thing now) becoz of money, Almost lost Trez, Lost Davids to Inter and so maybe juve is in financial trouble afterall.

Ok here we go:

A sale once and again isnt bad. Vieri just went! We almost lost trez cos moggi wasnt sure of his commitment to the club, and we lost davids to inter cos moggi was too bigheaded to give him the money he wanted, and they had a fight. Dont worry, we are one of the only clubs in the green in italy, and we spend tight to ensure we keep it that way, which IMO, is better then spending and going broke.

Did that help at all?:D

As far as I know, Juve are the club best off financially in all of Italy, at least in terms of fiscal responsibilites (owners deep pockets notwithstanding). Juve are careful spenders in order to maintain this record and be competitive every year and avoid the trouble that a lot of the big clubs (like Roma) go through.

those transfers you mentioned do not have anything to do with any financial bottleneck..

trez was bragging about raising his salary.. and moggi was hesitating if he deserves it or not.. lost vieri..?!? why..? he's old.. grumpy.. his wages are high and he doesn't deserve half of it.. beside.. his performance in the euro2004 speaks for him.. and we lost davids because moggi didn't want him anymore..

The reason the likes of the Milan clubs can go spending willy nilly is because they are bankrolled by their presidents, who neglect the huge debts they are in as they'd rather have a bit of fun and buy a superstar. Juve runs itself as an entity with little or no input from the board of directors (financially speaking at least)

If we wanted to we could spend like idiots too but then we'd be in the same debt but without a president willing to bail us out with a couple of hundred million!

This is a very interesting and yes, sometimes confusing one, because although everyone knows that we are the most prominent club in Italy as far as finances go, we never spend alot. Even when we received a boost after finishing second in the CL in 2003 we didn't exhaust our transfer funds, and that's the way Juventus FC are. We're a club that always spends sensibly and prefers to indulge in young unknown talent rather than expensive big name players. Some dislike this strategy if that's what you want to call it, but it has brought us success and is definitely beneficial for long term projects. Different clubs have different views, different projects and therefore different squads.

Atleast Real and Milan are winning something, Inter havent won anything in 12 years, they dont deserve that luxury
