Sweden and Denmark are both good teams. Plays offensive football with much wingplay. And i am sure Zlatan (swe) and Tomasson (den) will be a threat. But one thing is for sure, they have to attack since Italy certainly will score maybe 2 or 3 goals against them.
Anyhow im sure Italy control this matches superb.

Not if Trap holds his nerves and DP, Totti and Bobo are on form, but those are some big "ifs" aren't they? ;):D

On a more serious note though, Sweden and Denmark are definitely strong teams and Italy can't go into these games in a complacent manner. If Nesta, Pirlo, Zambrotta and Totti play like they have been playing this season we should be able to take maximum points against both the Swedes and the Danes though.

I think the surprise team this summer could be the Czech Republic, especially if Nedved regains his form. I think it is very possible we could have a Portugal-Czech Republic Euro 2004 Final.

I can't see that happening. The Czechs are definitely capable of being finalists, but I see them as semifinalists at best, and Portugal? Nah. Don't think they'll be able to get passed France, Italy, England, Holland, etc.

I don't think it'd be a big surprise if the Czechs excelled at Euro 2004. They're widely tipped as the dark horses for the tournament and have an extremely strong squad. Portugal I can't see going the whole distance. The semifinalists for me look like France, Italy, Czech Republic and Germany.

France, Italy, and two of the Czech Republic, England, Holland, and Spain for me. I have Germany to go out in the group stage.

I'd have liked to say England, Holland or Spain too, but the efficient Germans always manage to pull it off. I'm seeing a couple of 1-0 victories for them

Germans won't reach further than group stage. Or maybe the NT will be changed by a miracle - then everything is possible. We just arrive in Portugal, beat the Netherlands, lose rest of group games and fly home for watching EC 2004 in Portugal. :D

That could well happen, but I listed my semifinalists based on gut feeling alone. Germany is a very efficient team, and when it comes to the crunch, they defend and do exactly what they need to win the match, nothing more. They should beat Latvia with ease, and if they can pull off draws against Holland and the Czechs, I can see them making the top two. Stranger things have happened, you know :)

Nuh, I was supporting Belgium (naturally) and, to a lesser extent, Hiddink.

Not so much Korea. On purpose. I didn't want to call myself a fan of a team of players whos name I couldn't pronounce or remember :D

Bah :fero: How hard is it to pronounce Kim, Park and Lee? Remember those and you've got half the squad covered :D:p

Yeah I heard that a lot of Dutch ppl were supporting Korea because of Hiddink. I was very impressed by Belgium, pity they didn't get further than they did

Yeah. Especially because they were actually in it with a shout against Brazil! Too bad ... too bad ...

And yes, a lot of Dutch 'supported' Korea because of Hiddink but the vast majority still rooted for Belgium Can't break with tradition easily :)

Then of course in the final the entire nation coloured green-yellow :D

 Funny how spiteful people can be

It's a pity Australia doesn't really have any bitter rivals, I'm sure it'd be a lot of fun to switch loyalties depending on who your enemies are playing. Oh well, with Korea, at least I know we had your heartfelt support against Germany
