So what happens with Milan now? Elliot Management looks for a buyer and sells them to whomever has the cash?

What about Bea Taechaubol and Yongdong Li? They just fade away as mysteriously as they appeared?

Elliott has pledged to inject 50m immediately, but apparently they want to run the club and then sell with a good profit. Their first steps besides that cash injection will probably be getting rid of Mirabelli and Fassone.

For him, it’s not as if he is going to be remembered as a Milan legend if he stays there. He might aswell leave, earn as much money as possible and play CL football somewhere else, while he still can.

Why would a semi big CL playing team want him now? He's 31 already and outside of serie A 31 year old defenders don't go for a price especially when they flop and questions arise weather they were good because they were surrounded by WC defenders and flop as soon as they leave.

Him and Milan deserve each other and will together rot in darkness

This is by far the best period I can remember as Juve fan -- total success for us and utter failure of our historic rivals.

He'd probably be available for 40ish million euros and it's a steal considering that kind of money only gets you the likes of Rugani or Luiz, I think most top clubs would be interested in adding a 31yo CB that once was world class for that kind of money. I think he'd possibly improve Barca, City, Bayern and many others.

    Fiat workers strike over Ronaldo
    By Football Italia staff

An Italian trade union has announced that Fiat workers at its Melfi plant down south will go on strike over Cristiano Ronaldo’s €105m transfer to Juventus.

It is thought some of that fee will be paid through sponsorships by Juve’s parent company Exor, which owns the likes of FIAT and Ferrari, prompting a furious backlash from the Unione Sindacale di Base.

“It’s unacceptable that while FCA and CNHI workers continue to make huge economic sacrifices, the company then spends hundreds of millions of euros on the purchase of a player,” it said in a statement.

“We’re told that times are tough, that we need to resort to social safety nets, waiting for the launch of new models, which never arrive.

“And while the workers and their families tighten their belts more and more, the company decides to invest a lot of money on a single human resource!

“Is this fair? It is normal for one person to earn millions, while thousands of families can’t even get to the middle of the month?

“We’re all employees of the same owner, but this difference in treatment cannot and must not be accepted.

“The Fiat workers have made the company’s fortune for at least three generations, but in return they have only ever received a life of misery.

“The company should invest in car models that guarantee the futures of thousands of people, rather than enriching only one.

“That should be the objective, a company that puts the interests of their employees first. If it isn’t, it’s because they prefer the world of football, entertainment and everything else.

“For the reasons described above, the Unione Sindacale di Base has declared a strike at FCA Melfi between 10pm on Sunday July 15 and 6pm on Tuesday July 17.”

    Napoli: Meret fractured ulna
    By Football Italia staff

Bad news for new Napoli goalkeeper Alex Meret, who fractured a bone in his arm during training today.

The former Udinese and SPAL shot-stopper was involved in a nasty collision with teenage teammate Mezzoni at their Dimaro training ground.

He immediately winced in pain and had treatment before leaving the field with ice on his arm.

A statement from the club confirmed Meret has been diagnosed with a fracture of the third medial ulna in his left arm.

The limb has already been placed in a cast.

It’s not clear how long this will take to recover from, but Meret is certainly a very unlucky player.

He is only 21 years old, but has just 13 Serie A appearances under his belt following shoulder problems, muscular issues and surgery for a sports hernia.

Meret was signed from Udinese for €22m along with teammate Orestis Karnezis.

Damn, that sucks. 22m on a goalie with a broken arm. Changes their transfer plans completely I would think.

Its funny as $#@! bc everyone could see this was the way they where heading. They even manage to fail more spetaculary than i hoped for. Spend 200m for mostly unproven or proven mediocre players. Huge contracts for dunnerumma and bunucci. They are almost unsellable now.

Honestly I hope bonucci stays there and never wins a thing after leaving us thinking he could captain that milan side back to glory, thought he was bigger than the team and it feels so good when we get proven right.

Really? They don't get bought out or at least retain a minority share reflective of what they have already paid for?
