    Capello: Technique over tactics
    https://www.football-italia.net/1196...e-over-tactics
Fabio Capello believes Italy must ease their emphasis on ‘tactics’ and teach their youngsters more about ‘technique’.

“I hear talk about football schools,“ he told Radio Anch’io Sport.

“At the age of 12, kids are always and only given the ball in Spain, while in Italy, it’s all about tactics.

“It’s much easier to teach tactics than technique: you can correct the tactics, but you can’t correct technique.”
I agree with this and I think it's the main problem for Juventus Primavera... although I think this obsession with tactics applies to main teams as well.

    Primavera & Under 17 - 2017/18

Allegri said the same thing years ago. Explains why there are barely any Italian players useful for top teams in past few years.

I dont get it really.....whats the point of having youth squads if you cant promoe a single young talent in your first team in the past 20-25 years and probably even more? Besides Giovinco and Marchisio, but thats just two players and Gio barely had any impact on the first team....

Done deal: Juve steal 15-year-old striker from under Man Utd noses

    09 June at 12:15
Juventus are on the verge of completing the signing of Lucas Gomes, a promising Portuguese striker with Brazilian passport.

Our own Nicola Balice writes on Ilbianconero.com that the Old Lady has basically completed the singing of this exciting 15-year-old who had been close to joining Manchester United.

Gomes had a few trial trainings with the Red Devils back in December but the Premier League giants were unable to compete his signing because of bureaucratic reasons. The 15-year-old is under contract with Swedish giants Malmoe and Juventus are now close to completing his signing.

The promising striker has already trained with Juventus’ youth team and this past Tuesday he was in Turin to undergo his medical with the bianconeri.

The deal between Juve and the player’s entourage is almost closed but being Gomes younger than 16 he may remain on loan in Sweden for one more season before moving to Turin permanently.
