    Ok so here's the deal.

We showed some interest and it appears Strootman had a release clause of 45mln euros that expired on August 1st. Now, media says that Roma wants 45mln (based on clause) while our offer is 30mln.

IMO he's a great playerand he'd fit in here quite well. However, it's a huge risk only cause of his injuries. If there were not his injuries I wouldn't even think twice about it.

ALSO, I think he's a great player BUT I'm not sure we should buy him cause imo we're more in a need of a classic DM. BUT NO, I do not think we should buy Matuidi as he's total crap.

The links to Strootman, Kovacic etc only make sense if we are moving to a 4-3-3, and again that makes no sense with Dybala.

suppose they are both playing well, would you start Strootman over Marchisio?, I feel like Strootman would fit in the team better but Marchisio has played very well in pre season
I actually think Pjanic - Marchisio (DM) - Strootman would be one of the best midfields in Europe. With a shit bench.

But I don't know. If both players are in their prime I'd rotate depending on the opponent. I didn't like from the little I saw from Marchisio last season when he came on. If that's his level then I'd easily place Strootman ahead of him.

Glassman has one of the most punchable faces around so it'd suck to see him in our shirt. Good player but his injury history is pretty scary, if unlucky (which is always the case with Juve) he'd miss most of the season. Pass imo.

i guess we will have to see what formation we use in the season, i doubt it will be a 4-3-3 because then Dybala would be without a proper position, most likely 4-2-3-1, a strootman/marchisio/Pjianic /Khedira midfield for 2 spots seems like a pretty strong midfield, not to mention Sturaro, Asa, ect :sergio:

    Nzonzi > Strootman
    Oh welll I disagree :D

There's no doubt we're gonna play 4-2-3-1 now when Dybala is staying. It would have altered only had we sold him.
