He may not be old, but he is definitely fart.

This club deserve much better than this insult.
It was destined to have this outcome, I never stopped believing.

Can't see us paying that, I wouldn't be surprised if he is nothing more than a fallback option. I don't bother with rumours. At this time of year everything is being regurgitated from previous times. N'Zonzi, Tolisso are hot. Fabinho pops up again from January. Next you'll see Rakitic, Goretzka, Bakayoko, Herrera and everyone else we've been linked to in the next 12 months mentioned with Juve. Obviously Verratti will be mentioned every summer until he joins or retires.

I'm pretty sure N'Zonzi was originally a last minute option last summer and then was mentioned again in January. I'll be surprised if he is even a top 3 choice.

My point is that calling a 28 year old player not worth signing because of his age is a new level of stupid. Let's be honest, it's to do with the quality of the player and not being glamorous.

trust me when we lose out on fabinho or some other top midfielder nzonzi will be our knee jerk over paid signing, he is not worth the money, hes the sort of player i dont mind as an upgrade to sturaro but not as a key figure in the starting 11

It's not his fault. Blame the cutpurse who wants to sign him.

I tell you who he does remind me of though - Vieira. He's a flat track bully in the way he used to be, and he's also good on the ball. An authentic CM now, not just the workhorse he was used as with the donkeys at Stoke.

€40m good? Probably not. I've honestly no idea what players are worth, said it last summer and again now it seems every player of a certain profile starts at €50m.

We'll sign someone else completely out of the blue anyway.

Vieira was 29 when he joined us so he was just about retired.

On a serious note though he was in some physical decline by then, Arsenal knew that and let him go. He wasn't too bad with us. I don't think he was ever in excellent physical shape though.

Oh and there was that minor Calciopoli annoyance that threw a bit of a spanner in the works in terms of his Juve career.

Yeah he had an ongoing groin issue at some point of the season, don't remember exactly when it was. He looked good at the start of the season though.

14m was a steal at the time, or so we thought.

Now 14m wouldn't buy you the leg of N'Zonzi.

Well for 14m im not sure you would buy Lemina or Sturaro so... Anyway if we see this guy as ideal Pjanic partner then lets do it, I have no reasons to not trust Marotta and Paratici. I just hope we will also make one big signing for wing.

To be fair. We should be looking at much better alternatives than this.

How can you rate Bentancur above Sturaro when he hasn't even played a single minute for us?
Sturaro is a solid act against weaker opposition and on his day he can keep his own against the best in the world (Real Madrid in 2014).

Bentancur's raw talent overpowers Sturaro's tattoos.

Sturaro had couple of good games but shows nothing special. We had hopes for him but seems like he's here to warm the bench for years to come. He is still young so we might get something out of him but he won't turn into Busquets any time soon.

I'm not saying Sturaro is an amazing player, just that you're rating a kid that never played in Europe ahead of him. He shouldn't even be in discussion until we see him in a few friendlies.
